Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I borrowed a friend's 7xxx tractor with a 3 point scratcher on it for laying out tile lines. It had a Versa in it but I don't remember what type of steering. I wanted to make parallel lines straight out from the main at regular intervals. I set the swath width at 60' and used the scratcher to make marks in the dirt that the tiling machine could follow.
I was able to engage auto steer and back up to the main. I would then drop the scratcher and drive forward. I have an Integra with GeoSteer in an 8310R tractor but have never really tried auto steer in reverse.
