West Texas
Located north of Abilene and we have missed several rains so we have basically run out of moisture to plant on. Cotton is usually planted in our area mid may thru mid june so it is usually small this time of year. Milo planting has come to a halt due to lack of moisture but if we get rain I don't mind going to short season milo and plant up to mid July for our area.

Long story short this year is reminding me of 2012 so we are probably going to just wait and plant wheat in the fall and hope La Nina is not as bad as everyone is saying it will be and we can make some wheat next spring. This is year 5 or 6 of drought hope it ends soon.
