Agreed. They stay put if you have them attached properly, but definitely steady yourself instead of pulling with all your weight. On the ones we have there is an indicator on it showing if it has fully attached. I think it is green is good, red means to re-attach.
When you have them on right, they don't even wiggle though. I want to say they cost 15-20 bucks or so.
