I believe that Deere uses a different way of calculating a straight line. I know Trimble is different. Trimble and Deere set at *180 will cross paths in less than a half mile, so I would be sure to find out before trying it out.

Unless both riggs are using the same brand, then disregard what I said. I always set the cart to the same width, and heading as the combine header. Then I am always in the same spot. Just remember that drift will get You off line very quickly, so You will have to re-center the cart nearly every time.
