Greencastle, Pa. | Russ, The only thing that gives me a prob.no-tilling with my "old" White 5400 is not what I am planting in or through,no matter how tall or thick. It's me not the planter! The pollen about kills me. Every one on here would laugh if they saw my "old' White 5400. It's down to "just" fluted coulters and duble disc seed openers with the old rib style closing wheels. We are not allowed to use a starter fertilizer so we took all that stuff off. About all we do is keep all the ware strips,seed disc,and seed brushes replaced and it plants like a charm! No-Tilling since 1970 and don't know any better! Some day I'm going to get it right! [if I live long enough]
