Southern Indiana | Fathers Day is by far my favorite holiday because the kids are grown and one moved away, and my Dad and wife's dad are both deceased so I have no responsibilities. My wife (recovering city girl) has a little hard time understanding why I would rather be in the hayfield on a beautiful weekend than celebrating. I just tell her farmers are wired a little different than other people. Got a good start today with 700+bales of beautiful timothy hay and another 1200 or so tomorrow. No chance of rain til Monday night. I said we'd have a late celebration the first day it rains. I think I am in the majority of opinion here. | |
