Subject: Priorities

How do you keep your livestock a priority when you get busy with field work.  Seems like when we're planting, chopping, baling, harvesting etc. I'm so focused on keeping the equipment running the livestock kind of take a back seat.  I would think this would be even more difficult with a dairy herd, where management is critical.  Seems vaccinations aren't as timely and feeding schedules get worse when I get in the field, especially when your battling weather and don't want to stop.  Do you just stop what you're doing at a certain time regardless, to care for the stock, or does everything go haywire at those times like it does around here?
