NC Indiana | Could you put in a draft basin off to the side of the creek - ie - a culvert on end with a hole in the side with a hog panel for a screen to keep larger debris out? Then you could float a pump in there. Or could you put a well screen on a piece of pipe an run it out in the creek horzontally and covering the top side of the screen and bring it over the the bank so your pump is out of harms way. We've done that with rural fire department draft sites using pvc 1/2 drilled with holes for screens. | |
