Have lots of old patches here, that grow really large thick stalks. Seems new patches have spindly little stalks for some reason. I don't mess with it much, just go and cut some off when I want it. It always looks after itself. Its along the road, so people are forever stopping in to ask if they can have some, I tell em to take all they want.
