NW MN | If I'm understanding you have a couple of issues
1.you can't connect wirelessly to the router with the computer.
2. With computer wired to the router the computer can't see the wireless printer or just the scanning portion?
Problem 1 make sure the wireless switch,if present, is
turned on didn't get physically bumped to off. Find new drivers for your wireless card from manufacturers website.
Problem 2. How is the printer installed on the computer? As a local or as a network printer?
I would disconnect the printer physically from the computer or router. Then uninstall the printer. Then reconnect either wirelessly or wired and choose to install a new network printer.
