central nebraska
I found this brisket rub online last week and smoked a brisket and it was incredible. This was a new rub I tried for the brisket and I really liked it. I had no complaints from anyone. This rub recipe is for a 5-6 lb brisket.

2 Tbsp fresh ground black pepper
1 Tbsp salt
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp sugar

Smoked on the Traeger for about 3-4 hrs then turned temp up to 225 until internal Temp was about 180 deg. Foil it and grill until temp is around 200 deg. remove from grill and let sit in foil for 30 min. Ive done a few briskets this way and they are very good.

Good luck.
