Subject: JD Closing wheel update ?

Nevada, Iowa
I've got an older 1760 Deere, it's basically got a late 7200 closing wheel set up on it. I need to renew or replace the tail piece. Currently running one Dawn curvetine and one original. I think the Dawns are getting worn out as the spokes look almost sharp on them now as opposed to more of a spoon bill when new. They still work well but I am thinking they need to be replaced soon. The newer Dawn wheels have a better bearing system in them than my older style tail piece allowed. I guess I am wondering if updating the tail piece would be worth it or should I get a kit to renew the tail piece pivot and look in to getting new Dawns of the same style. For those who have crossed this bridge, what did you find to be your best option? I will probably run two Dawns now whatever route I choose. Aside from a very few issues at first, the style of Dawn bearing I am currently using has given me very little trouble.
