Freeform only creates one line to each side of the recorded line. You have to record your 3rd line while driving on your 2nd line.
I use the headland pattern and use 3 circuits. It basically uses freeform to make the 3 circuits but sets your infill pattern also. The trick with headland is you need to set your infill pattern before you close the headland on the first pass.
