Subject: Planting corn into 6' tall cereal rye, take row cleaners off?

Tomorrow I'm going to plant corn into 6' tall cereal rye. Have row cleaners all the way up. Will that be good enough to stop them from wrapping? Have planted into thick stuff before, but not like this. Can take them off pretty easy. Just don't want any wrapping. Thanks.
