Subject: Wheat awns in clover hay - problem?

WC Iowa
We have quite a bit of volunteer wheat coming in our new seeding of clover. With the constant rain we haven't been able to get it cut and baled. The wheat awns are growing now and I am concerned that the cows and calves won't want to eat the hay. Experiences? or suggestions?
