Might be your vacuum sensor that is on one of the row units. Try tapping it to shake the dirt out of it. When they stick or go bad it makes the system shut the oil down and that might be the noise you hear when the the oil is returning. Make sure the little rubber plug is still on it. Had to replace one on my 1200 this spring.
