| I leave them both on the cow unless a cow looses a calf that I can graft the twin on to. They usually will not be as good individually as a calf raised on a single cow. Normally on twins I will end up with two 500 lb. calves instead of one 625 lb. calf, but moneywise I still come out better with twins. Years I have had several I have put them all in one pasture so I can give the mommas a little bit of grain. Some people hate twins, but it would suit me fine if all of mine had twins. | |
