Mobeefguy is correct if you MUST buy hfs. Be sure they are pelvic scored and bred to an calving easy bull. Even then you will have a least some frustrations with hfs. The other thing not mentioned is disposition. When you go look at them do they approach you or are they stand-offish? Easy handling is pretty big for the inexperienced.
