Is the parlor basically a flatbarn setup, or are you still digging a pit yet?
Why the metal in the milkroom instead of a plastic product? We've had so much problem with rust in our milkroom on painted metal doors and on a ceiling I-beam, that I wouldn't consider using any sort of rust-prone metal in the milkroom.
