I'm lost, you are showing a pic of a key switch and electric gauges that are 14 volt which you say you have mechanical gauges. I'm thinking you have a manual engine shutoff, so you don't need a key just a start button. If so an oil pressure switch wired in will work the volt gauge and you could add an electric hour meter if you want. Should still have an amp gauge somewhere why not fix it?


There is no key. Just a start button. Think 1956 technology. Only has fuel pressure, oil pressure and water temp. No other gauges on it. Nothing electrical about any of those. Yes the shutoff is manual.

It was 6 volt pony motor start when I got it. Now the pony is gone and it's 24 volt electric start.
