Rockford, IL/Beloit, WI | Been to a few sales myself this spring. Did not buy anything with low commodity prices. Grain guys were doing most of the buying or some jockeys. Items less than $50,000 seem to bring what they are worth. More than that, they were taking big losses in value.
In-laws running dairies, well that is another story. With $14 milk none of them are making any used or purchases. Hard to break even and are having to take on more debt just to keep operating right now. | |
