SE Illinois | Does sound like a wheel motor losing oil pressure internally. Their is a hydraulic block located near rear axle, not sure for 664 exact location, that has spool valves on the sides. Pull these valves out and check to see that a small piece of metal has not lodged in one and stuck it open. You could be losing hydraulic pressure here too.
If still having trouble call Altorfer Cat, they are a Ag Chem dealer, and speak with service dept. They can help you on checking wheel motors.
