they would help if your old bulbs were drawing a lot of juice, but you probably have a problem somewhere else, first guess would be the relay socket itself, my 85 fuse box got so bad i had to get a newer one, could not stop the corrosion and bad contacts. might be same thing somewhere else, if the bulbs were drawing that much it would trip breakers.
