Texas | Last week we needed some professional help to round up some heifers that were not cube trained (i.e. Someone who could ride a horse).
Dad called a neighbor who was able to easily round up the heifers and the walking hamburgers without incident.
We sold the old arthritic creatures at a sale barn last week. We had both of them preg. checked at the sale. One was eight months bred, the other was open. Ironically, the open one sold for more than the bred one. Both sold to packer bidders.
After wanting to catch them for about six months, we were extremely pleased to get them sold before they became coyote food.
Pic is of the walking hamburgers in the trailer on the way to the sale barn.
