Good points, Gary. A problem is that a lot of the big-money gamblers LIKE volatilty. These are the guys that move their operations closer to the CME because that makes their computers 1/100 of a second faster than the other guy's computer. These folks like the game the way it is played, the heck with the producers and end users. Tough to get those people to change anything significantly when they are profiting from the "dysfunctional" way things are. |
