The width of that rig is why government is trying to develop roads laws for farm equipment here in Wisconsin.
I am ok with the widths being regulated. Meet an 8 wheeler with big floats on it that are spread out and is darn near 25 wide with anything on 4 wheels and steep ditches on each side and you got a problem. The weight thing i'm split down the middle on. The roads just are not built for an 8,000 gallon tanker and tractor edges of the roads at the driveways are the worst. Granted they don't rebuild the roads worth a pinch of snot laying 1 1/2 inches on top of a crumbling road will never hold up but it bandaids a problem for fairly cheap. Sorry for the rant and glad that no one was injured in the wreck regardless of how it happened!
