Good for highways. Scrape off top 9", pack, and pour. Is that soil up there gonna be able to be the "new cornbelt" for the next 100 years?
There is a strip about 2-3 miles wide running north to south thru the middle of our county (Clark County) that is like that some of it is a little deeper to the gravel like about 15 inches. Guess what, there are a few gravel pits along that line.
what do you think of this subsoil?
