They irrigate with hose travelers and booms they pull thru the field. They irrigated last week pretty hard on them as it finally turned dry after a very wet winter/spring. They pump water out of the ditches around the fields if it's not too salty. But the provincial water management does a pretty good job nowadays keeping the ditches full of fresh water.

My wife loves tulips but we've only been once that she actually got to see some blooming and that's been so long she claims she don't remember.
