Subject: Is corn turning back and growing back down?

NW Iowa. / SW Arizona
Was talking to a gentleman last night who was visiting with a Pioneer DSM recently. The Pioneer guy told him they were concerned with a lot of the corn planted in Iowa around the 11th to the 16th. Said with all this cold wet rain and cloudy cold temperatures we've had lately the corn that was sprouted underneath is starting to turn and grow back down towards the warmer ground. I can't verify that just what I was told. Anybody seeing that happening? I'm sure the majority will turn out alright but I have personally seen corn of own do this in previous years. Just curious what guys are seeing. I have no corn in the ground and don't feel like digging in my neighbors fields to see what it's doing.
