South Texas | I bought a nemo solar pump. It's just a Diaghram pump in a waterproof housing. About $240 and does about 2 gpm, supposed to be good to 200' depth or so. Can't say as to reliability as I haven't had it long enough. I've got it hung down an old shallow well by the river on a 50' water hose. Car battery, 100W solar panel, charge controller and a 1000 gal tank. It was keeping up with 80 head until the old well ran out. | |
