Subject: RE: Do some planters not track straight?

SW Georgia
#1 reason for wide/narrow middles: 3Point is to loose or incorrectly aligned when tightened or shimmed up.

#2 reason: Row cleaners/Coulters/row units are off centered, bent, or not correct height compared to other row cleaners, coulters, or row units.

#3 reason: Tractor is no running straight. Could be tires with major differences or not aligned correctly. Could be tractor measurements or offsets are incorrect.

I would always start with calibrating TCM first. And autotrac valve if possible. Check measurements and offsets. Then check 3point. Check implement. Check tractor.
