Seems to me the basis job is try to pick who is going to carry 1.8B corn and 425M beans into new crop in a market with very little payment to do so. If you raise your hand to hold it off the market I think the market will very quickly accept your offer. If we dont build a carry to encourage some commercial bids to carry corn and beans from August to October I fear that AUG/SEPT basis could be a very bloody affair.
