| been busy and have not watched things as of late.........what a shock........the basis has widened 20 cents on old crop and 10 cents on new crop.....and that
is on top of what it was 2 weeks ago !!
i'm pretty sure the elevator is not full of wheat.........while there was a wheat crop.........it was nothing special last year.
things not looking too promising for the coming year.......wheat got nipped by the cold wx, and we are dry....and no rain in the forecast
to amount to anything for at least a week.
I keep hearing about el nino..........but we are dry.....ponds are dry.........gound is dry......
one coop with the worst basis has 3...yes 3 train loading facilities (100 car units).......and we were told we would be more efficient,
and we'll make more...etc...........well they are paying less than another area coop that doesn't have the unit train stuff.
