Buxton ND
This is what I posted earlier today.

Look at ND corn acre projections,,, living proof we did not roll over and play dead planting corn*****
Many just do not under stand the millions, IDK if I can say billion of dollars invested to raise corn in ND and northern MN.
Your NOT going to pay for that with 4.50 wheat plus protein discounts and 70 bushels*****
Will Uncle Sam pay for that storage after that fact ? ? ?

The question has been asked many times in NAT, "How long will you guys up north plant corn at these prices"
The answer is just as long as YOU WILL.

CRP's been brought up, I say what CRP, its pretty much GONE.
In 2012,,, I drove 37 miles in what used to be alot of CRP and wheat and barley..... 37 miles from one wheat field to another wheat field. IT WAS ALL CORN AND BEANS.

In the aftermath of the 1970's there was wheat there should have been COWS.
That worked poorly so in came the CRP
Now there corn and beans instead of CRP
Back in the 1950 it was call "Soil Bank" same thing, different boom/bust cycle.
Take a road trip up here and see what $7-8 corn has done,,,,, its way cheaper then a trip to Brazil.
I used Brazil for a reason.
