NCIA | While I don't have an answer for you, I share your pain. Last spring when we got done we replaced many on both our planters. For us it is rocks that do the damage. We try to catch them early then you only need the plastic half to fix. In a pinch we have hammered the steel half "true" again so it is tight but that only buys you time. I'm tempted to put mud smiths or the like on just to have a solid steel wheel that will last but their price scares me away. The best thing about running a planter with splitter rows is that you have spare parts during corn planting. :) | |
