Hard to find time to drop bids between pie orders eh Pete?
Locally seeing better cattle numbers through the stocker sales, a good sign for all.
Speaking of nutrient management, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture say they are up 30% for applications from the past best. Dairy is building, beef feed lots are building. Young farmers are getting a foot hold.
Our budgets for cropping are decent if your yield is reasonably high. Basis and the dollar exchange going anywhere near us equivalent would make us regarding consider our crop strategies if marketing was not done ahead.
I don't think rent prices have moved down at all.
