As a HRWW producer I am glad for the rebound in KC wheat, but over the longer term, we have to have the dollar change direction and go lower, substantially lower, which would increase exports of HRWW and total disappearance and depending on production would begin to decrease ending stocks.

 Below is a scatter plot of US exports of HRWW and total disappearance of HRWW and the trade weighted dollar index from 1987-2015. Exports account for about 45% of total use and as you can see there is a negative correlation between exports and total use and the trade weighted dollar index.
