East of Edmonton this has been a great winter. There is not much run off so a concern for those filling dugouts for watering cattle on pasture. There was fall rain and snow in this area that went into the soil and have been getting some moisture lately. The frost is pretty soft so the moisture can go down otherwise it would just run off. From a crop standpoint we are probably average moisture but there is a lack of run off for dugouts.
