| Generally agree with Red/Green but soemtines low pressure causes the compressor to cycle and overheat clutch. I rarely replace parts on a customer compressor because it never fail for the compressor to go bad or start leaking shortly there after and it is always my fault.
That said, with the proper tools, you can replace the cluch without unbolting the compressor from it's mounts and replace the clutch. It is easier to take the comp loose and slide it out to where access is easier without discharging the system.
