Paxton, IL | The lift pump has a built in check valve that can go bad and cause fuel leak down/drain fuel filter.
Had my 255 to the dealer shop for other reasons, when it came back it had the field leak down issue. Ran fine when it went over to the dealer so I had them Coke out to fix whatever they screwed up. Ended up putting a new lift pump on it and solved the problem. I think I would have just put in a $5 check valve like mentioned above. | |
