South Georgia | You should probably disassemble the solenoid valves and polish up the steel pole piece inside; these often rust and corrode, causing the problem you are describing. Also, you might look at purchasing a rebuild kit so that you can replace the diaphragms. The diaphragms can stretch and cause the valve to bind. If you have any valves carrying the weight of hoses, this might be slightly deforming the valve body causing the valve to bind. We got tired of showing ours lots of love and maintenance every year and still having problems so we bought motorized ball valves. | |
