SD | I'm replacing the seed meter drive bearings on a JD 7000 planter. It looks as if the original bearings were still on this planter after 30 years!? Is this normal? It seems like an awful long useful life to me.
What's the best way to install these bearings into their press fit holders? I found out after the first one that the fresh paint needed to be brushed off as it was near impossible to press them in. What say you? | |
