South Ga | We've had one here since around Christmas, it's been run regularly no problems yet. Trucks come here to die so we will find out , it will be run hard from now until about August. The only PM they get here is a yearly oil change nothing else gets touched unless it A.renders the truck inoperable B. Won't pass DOT inspection. There is a 97 Frieghtliner here that's been running about 8-10lbs of oil pressure at warm idle since 2009 and has enough blowby to launch hot air balloons , I have been expecting it to die everyday for years. Out of the last 5 trucks that have left here one was stolen( had only been here a few weeks) two were wrecked and two went to the scrapyard.
About the new one it's a 2013 if I recall correctly and is the best driving/riding truck I've ever been in I almost feel sorry for it knowing its future. When it leaves here it will be on its way to the big highway in the sky. | |
