Subject: RE: John Deere 8400T Idler wheel issue

Bow Island, Alberta
If your front bushings are worn, or if the guide lugs are worn down, it will be hard to keep the track running straight. It will hug one side until you finally over-adjust and then it will by running tight on the other side. The tighter it runs to one side, the hotter the track and the idlers will get, and the sooner everything starts to fall apart. If everything stays reasonably cool, you'll go a long time.
