Liberty, MO | Are you parking it in neutral? Are you stopping before shifting to neutral. An 01 VOLVO I used to own that was very important to stop before shifting to neutral, my 06 Volvo not so important except neutral before shutting the engine off. How many miles on your truck, had to put a new XY shifter on mine at about 620,000 miles. There is a short wiring harness from xy shifter to main harness on top of tranny that can get corroded and needs to be cleaned up also.
Mine has about 650,000 miles and is doing a wierd thing every once in a while, breaks power for about 1 second at road speed recovers and everything is ok till the next time, maybe a week or 2 does it again. Got the technicians stumped here too.
