Subject: RE: Seed firmers on soybean planter?

Cental Indiana
Run keetons on my Tye drill. Very pleased except I break 1-2 per year. Drill is set up for 16" rows and I think adding the Keetons was a very good $300 investment. It's a drill so any improvement will help out on soil contact and depth control. I find that I can shallow my planting depth and get a better seed depth control because the firmers are putting the shallow beans down deeper.
