NE Iowa | Have bought 4 tucks from Canada over last 7 years. Excise tax will be based on value of truck when you buy it now. The Feds may or may not come after you for it. Was a couple years after the fact for me. Know a friend of mine that never got bothered. Usa will treat you like a terrorist if it is your first time importing a vehicle across the border. 2nd time is a breeze.
