put on accumulator on the down pressure circuit and don't pin the lever down for constant use. It just over reliefs the circuit and gets the oil hot. I've ran mine with red, green (new r series), and now a challenger, and the hyd oil overheated on every tractor trying to use that stupid constant dp system.

I put an accumulator in the circuit for the downpressure, and it holds the pressure constant from one end of the field to another. got the idea from a poster on here. lots of info doing this on here.
