Subject: New Cummins QSX 11.9 vs older QSX 15

perryton, tx
I'm thinking about trading a 2004 NH TJ375 for a new Versatile 375. The TJ has the QSX 15 while the Versatile has the 11.9. Both are rated at 375 HP, while surprisingly the 11.9 is rated for 1450 ft/lb of torque vs 1380 for the 15. The numbers look favorable but I have to think that the extra 3 liters of displacement for the QSX 15 would have to make some difference in real world pulling power, but maybe not. Thoughts?
