I also tore one apart and could find nothing wrong... In our case it was a seal on the drive line, steel seal on a steel surface it magnifies when turning. Still squeaks but now i just ignore it. Kind of like the squeak on the rear axle i could not identify... the camber tool. Drove me crazy thought it was the implement i was pulling. :)
